Lakes

Lakes are the mirrors of nature,
Accumulate the water from the rain, and
Reflect the beauty of life.
I love to walk along the lakes, and
I attempt to follow the path.
Every footstep I made,
It was a brief and fleeting shadow
Pressed against the face of an ageing Earth,
It vanishes like the blemishes of man,
Soon to be obscured by crisp autumn leaves.
I always feel thankful for the men,
Who walked their way to here,
For the first time,
To explore, to see,
To touch and remember
Among the greatness of nature,
We are so tiny.
